I needed to make a table from WooCommerce products for quan55 restaurant website. We’d transitioned to WooCommerce for displaying managing take-away orders. But we also had an existing menu. With a menu update coming I wanted to use the WooCommerce products in a table to avoid entering everything twice.
Barn2 Media WooCommerce Tables
In the past I’ve used Barn2 Media’s excellent plugin to make these WooCommerce tables. The problem this time around was I didn’t want to pay $99 a year for this project. We’re in the middle of COVID-19, which has been cruel to the hospitality industry, and I wasn’t about to ask my client to fork out extra money. Besides, it seemed like a good excuse to find an original solution.
Problem was, I did a shit-tonne of googling and I couldn’t come find anything. Then I remembered another project we’d done.
Ele Custom Skin For WooCommerce Tables
For this project you will need Ele Custom Skin plugin. (And Elementor of course. And Elementor Pro. I’m assuming you have those things already if you’re reading this article.)
You can use Ele Custom Skin to create a loop template. You will then use that loop template with the Elementor Posts element to display you products.
The video below shows how it’s all done. If you have any questions feel free to hit me up on Facebook or You Tube.
